Usui / Holy Fire III Reiki

Reiki simply means "life force energy".  It is a hands-on Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It allows us to access the unseen life force energy that flows through us and around us in unlimited supply, to improve health and well-being.  People are often looking for stillness in their lives, and Reiki can help with that.

Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki

Holy Fire Reiki is a new form of Reiki that was introduced about three years ago by the ICRT.  It is both powerful and gentle and provides purification, healing, empowerment and guidance.

Holy Fire energy is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness.  Some attributes and benefits include:

ā€‹

  • Works continuously even when not thinking about it and spontaneously heals issues as they come up.

  • Always respects free will.

  • Heals deeply and quickly without distress.

  • Heals relationships and interactions with others.

  • Releases worry and replaces it with a sense of safety in a most pronounced way.

  • Spontaneously provides guidance that is palatable for every level of life experience.

  • Tends to develop all the personality traits that are healthy for a person to have such as love of self and others, kindness, patience, confidence, vitality, enthusiasm, optimism, trust, joy, peace and so forth.

  • One of the more wonderful effects is a feeling of being loved. This is a deep and refined feeling that is very nurturing.

  • Once received, it continues to develop itself to be more evolved and effective.

I am very happy to have encountered this form of Reiki and to have experienced its benefits and advantages.  For me, Holy Fire Reiki is the perfect balance between traditional and more intuitive methods.  I found it to be a perfect fit for me on a personal level.

What is Reiki?

Reiki simply means life force energy.  It is the same energy that threads through several techniques and complementary therapies from various cultures, such as acupuncture, tai chi, chi gung and feng shui, and also links in with meditation.  Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to well-being.  It is known as ‘ki’ in Japan, ‘chi’ in China and ‘prana’ in India.

ā€‹

This energy is responsive to thoughts and feelings.  It becomes disrupted when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves.  These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force.  This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body.  Reiki practice rebalances the body and its energy flow.

ā€‹

Reiki is a natural Healing Energy and is a simple, natural and completely safe method of energy/spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use.  It works on every level and treats the whole person: body, emotions, mind and spirit, and has a profoundly calming effect.

ā€‹

Reiki has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and always creates a beneficial effect.  It also works alongside all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery; improving the results of all medical treatment, acting to reduce negative side effects, shorten healing time, reduce or eliminate pain, reducing stress, and helping to create optimism.  It is also listed as a complementary therapy on Cancer Research UK's website.

A Reiki treatment

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you.  Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include deep relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.  Many have reported miraculous results.

ā€‹

During a Reiki treatment, you will normally lie fully clothed, although the treatment can also be given sitting down.  The Reiki treatment consists of a series of hand postions on or near your body.  These include positions around the head and shoulders, the stomach, and feet.  Reiki energy flows from the practitioner’s hands into the client.  Positions will be held for varying lengths of time, depending on how much Reiki you need in each position.  The whole treatment usually lasts around 50 mins.

About Me

Anne Rayner

I am a Usui/Holy Fire II Reiki Master teacher/practitioner and trained in London, UK – https://www.reiki.org/students/hf_list/R

I also have a background in Shaolin kung fu and chi gung (meaning life energy: ancient Chinese energy exercises and techniques to balance chi).

My interest in Reiki came from hearing that it could help to clear the mind and provide balance - sometimes it can be difficult to let go of repetitive thoughts and associated negative emotions.  As an established technique, Reiki appealed to my more logical side, and during my first session I was surprised at the physical sensations I felt, which increased my interest.  Given the fact that Reiki can also be practised on oneself, I chose to start studying Reiki whilst recovering from a knee operation and also wanted to send distance Reiki to my father to help with his lung cancer treatment.  For me, it helps to clear my mind, gives me a deep feeling of relaxation, greater positivity and peace of mind, and has had other positive effects on my life. I am keen as ever to introduce other people to this technique and to help them gain benefits in their own lives.

ā€‹

Through my strong empathy and sensitivity and work as a musician, I have always been acutely aware of the feelings and needs of others.  I also offer life coaching, a method of facilitating a discussion with a client which guides their own decision-making to help them move them forward and achieve their potential.
