The purpose of coaching is to help people define for themselves what they want, develop strategies and move towards these outcomes. It helps provide clarity of thought and enables people to find the answers that are right for themselves. Coaching aims to be solution-focussed and move the client forward.
The coaching that I provide is not advice-based, but rather facilitates a conversation which elicits the client's own decision-making and process to affect change. Coaching is a partnership in which the coach assists and accompanies the client on their chosen route. The client decides what they want and the coach helps them to get there. The coach helps keep the client focussed, challenges with questions, offers perspectives, and holds the client’s vision in sight.
‘In each meeting, the client chooses the focus of the discussion, while the coach listens and contributes observations and questions. This interaction creates clarity and moves the client into action. Coaching accelerates the client’s progress by providing greater focus and awareness of choice. Coaching concentrates on where clients are now and what they are willing to do to get where they want to be in the future, recognising that results are a matter of the client’s intentions, choices and actions, supported by the coach’s efforts and application of the coaching process.’

I completed my training in Coaching in 2008 with Coaching Development Ltd, UK.
I am committed to working in whatever way is appropriate to the individual, and adapting to their needs intuitively. I am passionate about empowering others, allowing them to develop their confidence, and find techniques to achieve their potential. I offer coaching to individuals in all aspects of their work, personal, and social lives, whether they are looking to make small or large adjustments.
